"Supernatural" season 10 spoilers teased a very different Demon Dean than what fans expect, as both actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki still claims to be excited about playing their characters even after 10 years.
Showrunner Jeremy Carver dished out "Supernatural" season 10 spoilers during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, as reported by Variety.
"We'll see demons and angels, ghosts and werewolvesWe'll be seeing, of course, a side of Dean that we've never seen, which is Demon Dean, and we'll be staying with Demon Dean for more than one episode," he said.
"And I think we'll probably be seeing a different type of Demon Dean than you might expect, which is something we're all pretty excited about," he added.
He also said that they will introduce a mysterious new character.
"While Sam is on the hunt for his brother, there is another rather mysterious character who is on the same hunt and causes all kinds of complications for the boys, and there are a host of others that I can't really go into right now for fear of spoiling stuff," he said, per BuddyTV.
Meanwhile, stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki acknowledged that the stunts of the show has become more and more difficult for them now that they are not getting any younger. However, they said that doesn't mean they are any less excited about the show.
"I think we're all on the same page - we still get excited about it. That hasn't tarnished in 10 years. I remember getting the season finale and I got all giddy about it; I was excited to see what happens in season ten," Ackles told Variety.
But Jared Padalecki said that they don't expect the show to go on indefinitely. As he explained: "I truly do care deeply about this show and Sam Winchester - I don't want him to be broken down and beaten down into something I end up not respecting... I think we know the show enough and know our characters enough to know: If there's an end coming, I think we'll all see it."
