New updates for World Wrestling Entertainment's next pay-per-view Summerslam 2014 have been revealed.

It seems that the John Cena vs Brock Lesnar title match at Summerslam will indeed happen as the results from tonight's WWE PPV Battleground sees John Cena as the victor in the Fatal 4-way title match against Kane, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

It was reported before that a teaser for the John Cena vs Brock Lesnar match has been leaked online courtesy of the Brock Lesnar-WWE Universe Facebook page and viewers noticed that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is missing hinting that there is a title change.

Further evidence supported that the Facebook fan page claimed that the match won't be for the title as it was predicted that there will be a new WWE champion at the end of the Battleground PPV.

Wrestle Zone has reported that Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins will be possible be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion given the fact that Reigns has been in a hot streak as of late and has received multiple main opportunities on both Raw and Smackdown shows. Rollin's on the other hand, has a the Money in the Bank briefcase which he can cash in anytime and anywhere leaving the champion vulnerable to any form of attack.

Nick Paglino from Wrestle Zone shared his insight on the Summerslam 2014 main event match.

"Brock Lesnar vs John Cena is going to draw whether or not the title is on the line. So why not give the fans an unexpected title change tonight?

"The real question is who wins the title in tonight’s main event. Kane and Orton aren’t good choices in my opinion, and I don’t think Reigns is ready to win the title yet. Some people like the idea of Reigns winning and then Rollins cashing in on him, but that diminishes Reigns’ title win, and with WWE positioning him as a top guy right now, you don’t want to steal the spotlight from his first title win with a Money in the Bank cash-in."

So what do you think, who needs to win tonight?"

But as in turns out the predictions were wrong as John Cena won the match defeating Kane, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins is nowhere to be found after the attack from Dean Ambrose.

Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman tweeted that "Plan C" is in motion hinting that the former UFC champion will return in the next episode of Monday Night Raw.

Will the Beast Incarnate beat John Cena to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion?
