Could 2014 be the last "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season for Kendall Jenner?
The aspiring model is reportedly thinking about pulling out of her family's reality show, which has already spanned nine seasons, in order to focus on her budding, high-fashion career.
An insider told UK's Daily Mail newspaper that the 18-year-old reality star is anxious to get away from her camera-loving family's show on E! network.
"She has been advised by friends in the fashion industry that reality TV could damage her modeling career," the source said, according to Mirror quoting the Daily Mail.
The teen, who has walked the runway for several high-fashion houses, is still under contract to continue appearing on KUWTK, but according to the insider, the young Jenner has already declined to join a spin-off series that is still on development stages.
"Kendall had the option to pull out of any other potential shows and that's exactly what she's done," the insider said.
Jenner recently made her debut at the Chanel 2014 fall-winter show during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. It was the second time she has been handpicked by designer Karl Lagerfeld to model the fashion house's latest collection. In March, Jenner also walked the runway for Chanel, alongside models Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls and a guest appearance by Rihanna.
Aside from Chanel, Jenner also walked for labels such as Givenchy and Marc Jacobs. She made an appearance in French Vogue, and was the cover for LOVE magazine.
Meanwhile, another KUWTK family member, Rob Kardashian, is also keeping a low profile from his family's show.
"Rob feels that the reality show has truly ruined his family, and that momager Kris Jenner is always on the look out for the next big deal for one of her daughters," a source said. "His significant weight gain has only added to the stress in his life. He has been working out but has very bad eating habits. He just feels very alone."
