New updates for Square Enix new Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XV have been revealed as co-director Tetsuya Nomura tells his plans for FFXV.

According to reports from Examnier.com, Tetsuya Nomura will reveal his plans for Final Fantasy XV in this year's San Diego Comic-Con. Gameranx further elaborates that although he is attending the event, he most likely won't be showing off his latest projects, FFXV and Kingdom Heats 3.

Square Enix has already confirmed their lineup of games in San Diego Comic-Con 2014, which does not include FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3. Instead, they will feature Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris, Nosgoth as well as spin-off titles from the Final Fantasy and Hitman series. Square Enix also will be sharing a booth with Deep Silver, the publisher of Metro Redux and Sacred 3. Tetsuya Nomura will be signing autographs to fans along with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima.

Despite skipping several events, a Square Enix producer previously hinted that fans could hear more about FFV and Kingdom Hearts 3 in other conventions later this year. Tetsuya Nomura is co-directing the game with Final Fantasy Type-0 director Hajime Tabata as the game is being ported to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Meanwhile, the rumored PC version of FFXV has been cancelled in a Twitter post.

According to reports from Attack of the Fanboy, freelance writer Daniel Sims claimed that Square Enix will not have a PC version of Final Fantasy XV as he tweeted about it in his Twitter account.

However, gaming website Cyberland claimed that Final Fantasy XV PC release date was revealed when fans saw the game on the Steam database. In a different report it was revealed that Square Enix is planning a March 2015 release for Kingdom Hearts 3 and a May 2015 release date for FFXV.

The Bit Bag reported before that Square Enix President, Yosuke Matsuda, stated that while the Final Fantasy XV will not be showcased at E3 2014, he confirmed that they are working on the PC version of the game right now. He allegedly revealed that the games were made with Direct X 11 tools and they've already confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will be released on PC.

"We haven't decided when, but we're currently preparing new information that may meet everyone's expectations. Please wait for a little while longer."

Whether this claims are true or not is yet to be determined. Fans will just have to wait for Comic-Con 2014 for new information on Final Fantasy XV.
