The producers of "Fast and Furious 7" recently announced that they have finished shooting the film. Vin Diesel, who plays the character Dominic Toretto, also spread the good news to his followers. He wrote on his page, "Fast Seven is wrapped! A life changing experience. None of it would have been possible without you... the strength, conviction and confidence came from you, and I know together, we have made Pablo proud."
We all know that the 47-year old actor is very close to the late Paul Walker. Who wouldn't right? They started working together more than 13 years ago when "The Fast and the Furious" was released. Their tandem really clicked not only on-screen, but also off-screen. Vin Diesel didn't only lose a colleague, but also a good friend which he considers as his brother.
Thankfully, Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb agreed to finish some of his scenes for the "Fast and Furious 7". It must be difficult for the cast and crew to continue shooting the film, but all of their hard work paid off. Vin Diesel revealed to The Sun how much he misses his co-actor and how hard it was for him to do his scenes.
The "Riddick" star said, "There's only one Paul Walker. When you've worked with someone for 15 years and you know each other's idiosyncrasies and you've created magic together for so long, it's a strange thing to mourn that person and simultaneously pretend that person is next to you."
Diesel also said, "It was validating in a way that his family cared so much about the saga and the continuation and the completion of Paul's last work, but it didn't make the process any easier." In the meantime, someone seems to be happy returning on the set of "Fast and Furious 7".
Michelle Rodriguez, who stars as Letty Ortiz, was reportedly reshooting some of her scenes and she looked great. She even posted a photo of herself with black dots all over her face on Instagram. She captioned the picture "You can Mo-Cap Mitchymich (Mo-Cap stands for a film term referring to Motion Capture Special effects)."
"Fast and Furious 7" will hit the theaters on April 3, 2015.
