Shia LaBeouf recently made headlines after being kicked out of the Broadway show, "Cabaret," in New York City.
The "Transformers" actor became the butt of the joke on Twitter after his arrest last month, but it seems that he has come to his senses now.
Shia LaBeouf, after being the topic of choice on Twitter for Lena Dunham, Zach Braff and Alan Cumming, is now taking his outpatient alcohol treatment program very seriously, according to TMZ.
LaBeouf, who is set to star in the upcoming World War II blockbuster "Fury" with Brad Pitt, reportedly doesn't want to embarrass his co-star while they prepare themselves to go on an international press tour for the film, according to the Daily Mail.
Although the former "Even Stevens" star is trying to prevent future embarrassment, Pitt reportedly already saw LaBeouf in his drunken state while out together in Los Angeles. Before Shia LaBeouf was arrested for drunkenly terrorizing the cast of "Cabaret," the actor was reportedly seen partying with Brad Pitt at Ago restaurant in West Hollywood.
"Shia LaBeouf looked heavily inebriated and not that great looking in person," a source stated, according to NY Daily News.
The two stars were reportedly drinking together in a private back room at the restaurant. Despite his fun times with Pitt, the 28-year-old is now ready to sober up and dive back into his acting career.
Shia LaBeouf will hopefully no longer be the butt of the joke on Twitter after he becomes his sober self.
"He has taken the first necessary steps towards recovery," the actor's representatives said in a statement.
