Slayer fans are in for a treat-Buffy and her Watcher, Giles, reunite! Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anthony Stewart Head, who played the iconic roles on the beloved show, took to Twitter to share their reunion photo.
The two snapped a selfie wearing bracelets for Cool to be Kind, an organization founded by Head, which promotes kindness to animals.
"@AnthonySHead Best surprise visit ever!! It's #CoolToBeKind," SMG tweeted. "Thanks for the bracelets."
Head then retweeted the photo, adding "Sarah knows it's @C2BKind to animals x".
And if you miss the vampire slayer, Joss Whedon also made an update on the beloved blonde. Sort of. He tweeted a photo of Buffy slaying a vampire at a fan's request for more Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He then tweeted a Firefly drawing, another show that he worked on. Now we're just waiting for Dollhouse!
Meanwhile, Head, one of the cast of Syfy's Dominion has also expressed that he's still up to do the Giles spinoff titled Ripper.
"You know what? I would do it. I would do anything to work with Joss again. He's a wonderful storyteller, a great director, and a lovely man," he told Vulture when asked about the spinoff coming together. "I would love to, you know? Whether it's Ripper or something else."
Crossing our fingers that that spinoff really happens, and soon!
Meanwhile, if you still want more Buffy, Giles and the other members of the Scooby Gang, you can read up on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book series, produced by Dark Horse and which Whedon oversees as executive producer.
