Finally, rumors have been buzzing around that Anthony Mackie will replace Chris Evans as Captain America in the Phase of the Marvel CinematicUniverse similar to their comic book counterparts.
Marvel just revealed the identity of the new Captain America in the upcoming "Avengers Now!" storyline as Steve Rogers named Sam Wilson as his successor.
Fanshare reports that there might be a possibility, as the website claimed that Chris Evans might step away from role of Steve Rogers after Captain America 3 leaving Anthony Mackie to pick up his slack.
However, Comicvine has reported that Chris Evans will leave Marvel Studios after Avengers 3 citing that the character will die and his possible replacement will either Sam Wilson or Buck Barnes a.k.a. Winter Soldier since both of them claimed the mantle in the comics. Plus, an allege photo of Anthony Mackie wearing Captain America's costume in Winter Soldier was leaked online.
