Aside from winning two NBA Championships and having four MVP titles on his belt, it seems like LeBron James is showing a different side of his personality.
In order to apologize to his quiet neighborhood over a ruckus that happened following his decision to go back home to Ohio, James decided to give his neighbors cupcakes to show his sincere apology. James requested to deliver cupcakes to his neighbors via door to door.
According to the note in the delivery "We know things have been hectic in the neighborhood these past few weeks and we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you."
Adding "As a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation, our family wants to give you something that is meaningful to us, our foundation's cupcakes. We hope you enjoy the treat!"
James sent in two types of cupcake, with six pieces each. The family sent six "Just A Kid From Akron" Cherry Cola Cupcakes and six "Home Court Chocolate Chunk" Cupcakes.
James announced his decision to go back to the Cleveland Cavaliers through a Sports Illustrated Essay. According to him "When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission. I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn't had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what's most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio."
The essay touched a lot of basketball fans making them wish that James' hometown was their own. But the king has already decided "I'm ready to accept the challenge. I'm coming home."
James neighbors are really appreciative of the effort done by the NBA star and he has been receiving lots of love from Cleveland. According to Laura Basford, a cousin of one of James neighbor "Initially we were thinking they were trying to sell something from door to door but then we found out they were from LeBron. I think it was a really neat gesture."
