Luis Suarez Bite Ban May Be Reduced By CAS, Thanks To Loophole?

Barcelona's latest star, Luis Suarez, has now completely realized the toll that his ban is inducing on him.

According to goal.com, the Court of Arbitration for Sport has said that they are now processing the striker's appeal for his four- month, nine- month ban, and are already doing something to reduce it.

It seems that the department discovered a loophole. Barcelona may use the forward in their early games in the Premier League.

"Now that the case has arrived at CAS, it is very likely that we will reduce the penalty," the source confirmed.

"The ban would only apply to the Uruguay national team and not to Barcelona."

The ban was vindicated when Suarez bit Giorgio Chiellini during the Uruguay- Italy match during the World Cup's group matches. The ex- Liverpool striker had been away from "any football- related activities" since then.

Suarez was not even able to attend his own unveiling at Barcelona because FIFA said so. This event made Suarez's lawyer furious and has described the suspension and the punishment as "draconian, totalitarian and fascist."

Suarez is also unable to train with his new team mates in Barcelona at Camp Nou. He is foreseen to team up with other forwards such as the World Cup Golden Ball winner Lionel Messi and Selecao's 22- year- old superstar, Neymar Jr.

Suarez's suspension is an all- time high for the Fifa, He holds the record for the longest suspension in the history of Fifa. He has also been banned several times because of other biting incidents. This is his third time to perform this kind of trick in the field, but it his only the first time that he did it in an international level.

Nevertheless, he admitted in a public testimony that he really did bite Chiellini and he was sorry. He also paid 100,000 Swiss Francs as part of his punishment.
