The Jaguars has the need to light things up. They were finally able to do so by incorporating a Carrie Underwood Everbank Field concert performance.
The Jaguars is in the process of introducing the one of the largest video screens you would have ever seen. They find it helpful to have a high-rated celebrity do an opening act for it. This is where a Carrie Underwood Everbank Field peformance fits into the picture.
Underwood will kick off the Jaguars Mega Event with a 75-minute performance, Saturday evening. The event will open with a soccer match between London team's Fulham and MLS'DC United. The video screens then will be unveiled to the public on both ends of the stadium.
Underwood will perform at the 30 yard-line stage located at the north end of the stadium, reflected on the gigantic screens.
The soccer game and the video debut will take place, as planned, regardless of the condition of the weather.
However, the Jaguars' Dan Edwards announced Underwood's show will be called off if ever harsh weather conditions push through.
Jaguars president, Mark Lamping, said that Underwood's wide star appeal image, makes her the perfect fit for a show that highlighted a video debut. Lamping said:
"Our goal was to find a world-class entertainer commensurate with the world-class quality of our fans and our new video boards,"
"We believe Carrie Underwood was the perfect choice."
The following achievements of the singer make a Carrie Underwood Everbank Field performance a great pick!
In May 2014, Time magazine has included Underwood in their list of 100 most influential people in the world. To date, Underwood's got six Grammys and 11 Academy of Country Music Awards.
