Emma Stone, who will star in Woody Allen's "Magic in the Moonlight," caught a glimpse of the acclaimed writer and director's wierd side: she found out that he preferred his characters making up their own dialogue lines, instead of delivering them exactly the way he wrote them in the script.

This was exactly what she shared during her interview with indiewire.com. She went along with what Woody Allen wanted even if she surmised that he did not appreciate the beauty of his own writings.

As Emma Stone put it, Woody Allen, who wrote and directed "Magic in the Moonlight," did not value his words as much as she thought he would.

In her interview with the Daily Beast, which was featured by csmonitor.com, she described Woody Allen as being very protective of the movie plot. She said that he went out of his way to keep it hidden from the public.

Emma Stone said that as strange as it may sound, this was exactly how they kept the scripts from leaking. She even mentioned that this was how she also did it when she read "The Amazing Spiderman 2," where she starred opposite real life beau Andrew Garfield.

None of these practices did anything to affect her working relationship with Woody Allen and her co-stars during the filming of "Magic in the Moonlight" where she plays the role of Sophie, the psychic half of Allen's odd couple, as they were described in the New York Times review of the movie.

Colin Firth, on the other hand, took on the role of Stanley, who is the other half and her unlikely love interest. In the movie, he plays a cocky stage magician who is out to debunk Sophie by proving that her clairvoyant power is a hoax. However, he ends up falling for her instead.

Together, Colin Firth and Emma Stone make an attractive and interesting couple in "Magic in the Moonlight." They topbill the cast, which includes Marcia Gay Harden ("Silver Linings Playbook"), Hamish Linklater ("The Crazy Ones," a CBS comedy) and Jacki Weaver.

Fans can get a glimpse of Emma Stone and "Magic in the Moonlight" when the movie opens on July 25.
