The cast of "Avengers 2" had a standing ovation at the recent Comic-Con in San Diego. Imagine seeing Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Cobie Smulders plus the newcomers James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany in one stage. It's the most surreal thing that could ever happen to a Marvel Comics fan.
Of course, the big boss Kevin Feige was there to unveil the much-awaited first look at the "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Despite Scarlett Johansson and director Joss Whedon's absence due to health reasons, the crowd at Comic-Con still went wild because of the lively panel of the "Avengers 2" cast.
The first scene of the footage showed Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) together with Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) hanging out and trying to lift the hammer of Thor, but everyone failed.
Thor tossed his hammer in the air and said, "You're all not worthy"; and the next scene showed Ultron (James Spader) saying "You aren't worthy." The villain added, "You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. There's only one path to peace. Your extinction."
The rest of the "Avengers 2" footage shown at Comic-Con was all about battles and carnage, as reported by Huffingtonpost. Some cool scenes from Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Pietro Maximoff a.k.a. Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) were also showed in the teaser trailer.
Iron Man wore a bigger suit to control Hulk and Andy Serkins was shown having a long chin beard. Ultron claimed, "I had a vision. The whole world screaming for mercy." Tony Stark was heard saying: "It's the end - the end of the path I started us on." The last scene was Captain America laying on the ground unconscious and his shield broken into two while Iron Man stares at him in horror.
After the "Avengers 2" footage was shown, the fans at Comic-Con all lost their mind and can't help but worry about the fate of Captain America. Do you think one of the members of The Avengers will perish?
