The new poster and trailer for the third LOTR prequel movie have been revealed.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is an upcoming 2014 epic fantasy adventure film, directed and written by Peter Jackson and produced by New Line Cinema, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Wingnuts Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. This serves as the final chapter in J.R.R. Tolkiens book, The Hobbit and it stars Martin Freeman, Ian Mckellen, Richard Armitage, Orlando Bloom, Luke Evans, And Evangeline Lilly.

As for the trailer, it was first shown last week in San Diego Comic-Con 2014 as the video shows Bilbo Baggins narrating the first part of the trailer telling everyone what happened in his journey as the town of Esgaroth being destroyed by the dragon, Smaug and the surviving citizens of the city travel on their own after the attack. Another scene takes place in the Lonely Mountains where the Dwarves have taken back their home and rebuilding it under the leadership of their new King Thorin Oakenshield, while Bard ends up in the company of the Elves of Mirkwood. An army of orcs led by Azog are marching towards the Lonely Mountain as Bilbo and Gandalf are desperate to stop the coming war between dwarves, elves, orcs, goblins, and men.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is scheduled to be released on December 12, 2014 in the United Kingdom and on December 17, 2014 in the United States.
