"Game of Thrones" season 5 casts Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner take over the San Diego Comic-Con as part of the promotion for the HBO hit series. Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer teamed up with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for the mtvU Fandom Awards, also in San Diego, California.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 cast Maisie Williams traded her boyish getup as Arya Stark for what passes off as a dress, or as MailOnline described it, a "bizarre ensemble, creating a rather fashion forward image."

Meanwhile, her on-screen sister, Sophie Turner, kept it simple by wearing a mini sports dress. Her long blond hair was kept down and she wore stilettos that only accentuated her tall figure.

Other "Game of Thrones" season 5 casts who joined the Comic-Con are Gwendoline Christie, who was also tapped to play a role in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" and Rose Leslie, the former flame of Kit Harrington.

The two are rumored to be back together after they were snapped last week at the Los Angeles Airport. The two met on the set of "Game of Thrones" and fell in love. They split last year.

In another event, "Gameo f Thrones" season 5 cast Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) wore matching patterned shorts and a wrap top when she graced the mtvU awards with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister) on Thursday.

They were there to accept the award for "OMG-Moment of the Year" for the Purple Wedding episode when King Joffrey Baratheon succumbed to poison.

During the Comic-Con on Friday, producers revealed that eight new characters will join the show next year as the show focuses on the Kingdom of Dorne and the Sand Snakes, the vengeful daughtes of slain Oberyn Martell.

TVGuide reported more "Game of Thrones" season 5 spoilers when it revealed that the cast for the Sand Snakes is already complete.

Jessica Henwick will play Nymeria Sand, who is "the second eldest of Oberyn's bastard daughters who was raised to be cultured, graceful and deadly with a whip."

"Rosabell Laurenti Sellers will play Tyene Sand, the daughter of Oberyn's final paramour, Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma), who is especially fierce with her twin daggers. Keisha Castle-Hughes will play Obara Sand, a fearsome warrior and Oberyn's eldest bastard," it said.
