"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" part 1 trailer was released by Lionsgate, the huge film outfit behind the franchise, to the delight of their fans present at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014. In the teaser, Katniss takes center stage when she formally declares her allegiance to and leadership of the rebellion.
News OK reported that "The Hunger Games Mockingjay" part 1 trailer opens with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who plays the role of Plutarch Heavensbee. In the clip, he is shown seriously discussing the merits of having Katniss as the face of the rebellion to President Alma Coin of district 13, played by Julianne Moore.
He tells her that Katniss, popularly portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, is the face of the rebellion. He adds that their people will follow her. To this President Coin expresses her concern, wondering if Katniss will be able to handle the position given the fact that the games have ruined her.
Their discussion "The Hunger Games Mockingjay" part 1 trailer is interspersed with the image of Katniss while she is slowly walking among the rebels who looked on.
The scene then changes and puts President Snow in focus, as he declares that in their association the image of the mockingjay is forbidden. A series of scenes - the burning of the mockingjay symbol and soldiers in their white uniform suits battling the rebels - ensue. All of these convey the struggle of the uprising during their head-on clash with the association.
After the images of mayhem, the scene changes anew, this time focusing on one of the rebels while he confronts Katniss with the question of her willingness to fight with them. Without a moment of hesitation, she assents. The clip then closes with the showing of the image of the burning mockingjay symbol followed by the trademark sad whistling tune identified with "The Hunger Games" movies.
According to News OK, the movie series has become a global phenomenon whose sequels people have always anticipated. The rebellion begins as Part 1 of "The Mockingjay," which occurs in the aftermath of "Catching Fire" said UK Yahoo, hits theaters on November 21, 2014.
