Kevin Durant news reveals "KD's" statement regarding Lebron James' comeback to Cleveland, describing it as a "classy" move. The five-time NBA All-Star is also uncertain if he will be doing the same.

The 2014 Most Valuable Player spoke with ESPN.com regarding Lebron James' decision to opt out of his Miami Heat contract and return to his hometown team of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It has garnered mixed reactions from fans, critics, and the media, but for "KD", what "King James" did was "classy".

"I thought it was well-thought-out," Durant said. "It was classy. It was a great move to do it as a letter."

Kevin Durant news also reveals "KD's" praises for the two-time NBA champion and his reason to come back home.

"It's funny seeing guys think about more than just basketball for once," Durant said. "He thought about the city where he comes from, about Northeast Ohio and how he can affect so many of the kids just being there playing basketball. I love that."

"So many guys get criticized for making the decision that's best for them, instead of what's best for everybody else," he continued.

While Kevin Durant did begin his stellar NBA career with the now defunct Seattle Supersonics, he is more notably known as the talented small forward of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has won numerous honors, including Rookie of The Year in 2008, NBA All-Star MVP in 2012, and the league MVP award for 2014.

While Oklahoma served as his home for his professional playing career, he has kept close ties with his hometown of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, which is a suburb of Washington, D.C.

In 23 months, "KD" will become a free agent. And while the possibility of a similar homecoming looms, the NBA star has remained uncertain.

"I'm going to do what's best for me," Durant replied. "It's hard to talk about that right now when I've got two years left in Oklahoma City."

"I'm just going to focus on that," he continued about the Kevn Durant news. "I'm not going to make a decision based on what anybody else does."
