After the producers and Vin Diesel announced that they have finished filming "Fast and Furious 7", we thought that we won't get any more surprises. However, the actor that played Dominic Toretto got many fans excited again when he revealed that a new superstar just joined the cast.
The New Yorker recently posted a photo of himself with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. He captioned the photo "Still from Fast Seven...Toretto Tuesday". That image confirmed that the 24-year old recording artist will be appearing in "Fast and Furious 7".
During a recent interview with Skyrock FM of France, Vin Diesel accidentally revealed the inclusion of Iggy in the movie. The radio station asked him which songs he would like to dance to most. The choices were "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo, "Problem" by Ariana Grande, and "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea.
The 47-year old actor answered, "Well, Iggy Azalea, I just worked with her two weeks ago." Vin added, "I guess you'll be the first person that knows this - we casted her in Fast & Furious 7. She has a cameo in Fast & Furious 7."
Vin Diesel didn't confirm what her role was, but based on Vin Diesel's Facebook photo, the hip hop princess appears to be a racecar driver. Iggy Azalea perfectly fits the movie because the "Fast and Furious" film franchise is known for casting models and musicians.
Some of the hottest models that appeared in the "Fast and Furious" film series include Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious), Devon Aoki (2 Fast 2 Furious), Caroline Correa (Tokyo Drift), Elsa Pataky (Fast Five), and Eva Mendes (2 Fast 2 Furious).
Apart from Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris, there are also other recording artists that have appeared in "Fast and Furious" films. Rita Ora appeared in "Fast & Furious 6" and a few months ago Vin Diesel announced that Latin-American singer Romeo Santos will have a role in "Fast and Furious 7".
The latest addition to the new installment is Iggy Azalea and we think that she will do a great job in "Fast and Furious 7". Now the question is, "Will she shift from singing to acting in the future just like what Will Smith, Queen Latifah and LL Cool J did?"
