After the World Cup nightmare and the humiliating 7-1 loss of host Brazil from Germany, Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is opening new doors for David Luiz to rebuild his reputation.
Luiz captained for the team in the semi-final match against Germany during the World Cup 2014 in place of Thiago Silva who was suspended at the time of the event. The match was a disaster for Brazil and Luiz's performance was widely criticized by many. He even tearfully apologized to his compatriot for the terrible loss. However, Ibrahamovic sees otherwise-he believes that the athlete will be able to bounce from the setbacks in his career and will prove to ba a valuable asset in the French Club.
The Sweden star said: "I think it's a positive thing. We're waiting for him to come here and settle down, to get to know the players, the club, the supporters and the city, which is amazing."
Ibrahamovic also said that Luiz will be welcomed in the French Club with open arms and that it is not a difficult group to enter. Every player who has come and joined felt the warmth of the welcoming and for as for the athlete, adapting will be up to him but surely it will be easy.
This offer for David Luiz stands, and might open a new doors for his career given that a luster of potential was seen in him despite the humiliation in the previous World Cup semi-final match.
"I think he's professional and he's waiting to come here. There will be no problems!" Ibrahamovic said.
