Here are the latest "Wreck-It Ralph 2" cast, plot and release date rumors.

New reports claim that "Wreck-It Ralph" director Rich Moore has already been talking about possible ideas for a sequel. One of which includes adding more notable video game characters to the cast.

There have been rumors that Moore is considering to add Dirk the Daring from "Dragon's Lair" and Mario to the sequel. He is also thinking of incorporating aspects of mobile gaming into the sequel's story.

In a separate interview with Hypable, Moore shared that he and John C. Reilly (Ralph's voice) have already explored possible ideas for the sequel, including the possibility of Ralph meeting different versions of himself.

"That is so funny that you ask that," Moore said, "because I was just talking to John C. Reilly [the voice of Ralph] and we were talking about exactly that. Are there other Ralphs? What would happen if another Fix It Felix, Jr. game was plugged in? Are there other Ralphs that are more contemporary? Is there another version of the game that was made for mobile? Are there those kind of Super Smash Brothers types games where all the characters are gathered in a fighting game?"

"What would that be like for Ralph to come face to face with those different iterations of himself? And it's created some really cool conversations, so I think that that is so funny you bring up because it's something we're playing around with right now."

Collider notes that "this is similar to a plot point in Toy Story 2 when Buzz Lightyear discovers his other figures, but it sounds like if Moore went with this idea, then Wreck-It Ralph 2 would use the concept to power an entire film."

"It's a fun idea when you start playing it out like what if Super Mario started running into Tennis Mario, Baseball Mario, Board Game Mario, etc."

Behind all the ideas, Disney has yet to confirm whether "Wreck-It Ralph 2" is really in the works.
