British pop singer Rita Ora recently opened up on what it was like acting and memorizing her lines as part of her role in E.L. James book adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Ora, who plays the role of Christian Grey's sister, Mia, admitted to wearing an earpiece in an attempt to help her remember all of her lines, according to Mirror UK.
"I was honestly like so nervous I forgot everything that I had learnt," she explained.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 23-year-old singer added, "I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it because I was honestly like so nervous I forgot everything that I had learnt."
The "I Will Never Let You Down" singer also admitted to being inspired by her co-star Dakota Johson, who plays the role of Anastasia Steele. "She's a great friend of mine and she really eased me, and she was really nice to take care of me."
Talking about perfecting her American accent, Ora, confessed that it was one of the toughest things she had to endure as part of her role, ABC News noted.
"I was a bit kind of stressed out during the audition process. When I got that phone call I was so happy. I couldn't wait to tell everybody." But perfecting her accent, was, according to her, "incredibly difficult."
Still, despite all the challenges she had to endure, the "RIP" singer is incredibly proud of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"The movie is as close as it can visually be. I think the actors are phenomenal in this. I'm just honored to be on the same kind of wavelength at them. This being my first movie, it's pretty awesome," Ora dished.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is slated for release on February 14, 2015.
