Australian rapper Iggy Azalea crosses over to Hollywood to try out her acting chops by appearing in a cameo role for "Fast and Furious 7." She joins Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Jason Statham and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the seventh installment of the action movie.

According to Mail Online, Vin Diesel himself was the first one to leak the news. He mentioned it during his interview with SkyrockFM of France. He was a featured guest promoting and discussing his latest superhero movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

At the time of the interview, the actor and producer, who is also popular for his portrayals in Riddick said that he and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, worked alongside each other a couple of weeks back.

As reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has stayed on top of the American singles chart in 2014. Her success as a rapper has earned her seven nominations for the 2014 MTV Video Music awards on August 24. Born on June 7, 1990 as Amethyst Amelia Kelly, she adopted the stage name Iggy Azalea. She was 16 years old when she moved to the US where she pursued a career in hip hop music (Wikipedia).

Although news of her appearance in the popular action blockbuster flick has already leaked to the media, her name does not show on the present cast list of the movie. Also, she has not made any comments in any social media outlet. Instead, she posted a tweet of an instagram image of her pet dog donning sunglasses with a hat and scarf, reported The Sydney Morning Herald.

Mail Online reported, however, that Australian rapper Iggy Azalea posted a photo of Michelle Rodriguez and herself and captioned it #Fun' while shooting. She seems to be treading the same path as Rita Ora, who is featured in her newest single entitled "Black Widow." Rita also had a cameo role in "Fast and Furious 6."
