Social media aficionados have been following the story of this 'mystery woman' with photographs and videos.
She has been wandering from Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Everyone wants to know what is her mission, her purpose and why she is doing this?

But the police have asked that everyone respect her privacy.

“I wish people would mind their own business,” she told ABC News.

The hashtag #womaninblack became popular on twitter-sphere: She described herself as the mother of two daughters and a widow. Her journey to Virginia is not clear, but followers of the '#womaninblack' she is on some kind of a spiritual/religious mission.

The #womaninblack has walked from Alabama to Winchester because God told her to do so. Hoping she finds peace or whatever she's looking for

“My daughters saw this lady last night at our Walmart here in Chillicothe, Ohio. My daughters, being teenagers were a little “freaked out” but as they walked into the door she was sitting beside, my daughter said the woman had a sparkle/glow around her. I asked if maybe she had shiny things sewn on her clothes and my daughter said no."

"My daughter also reported a very peaceful feeling as she walked past this lady. Whatever this lady’s mission, she had an effect on my girls last night. My daughter asked if she would like for her to go get some food for her, but the lady didn't’t answer. My hope and prayer is that this lady stays safe, fed and rested wherever her travels lead her,” the inquisitr reported.
