One of the most talked about relationships in Hollywood is that of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. They were the hottest couple back then when the "Twilight" saga became a huge international success. Their on-screen romance developed into a real-life love affair that's why fans were disappointed when they found out about the cheating scandal.
They never expected the sweet and innocent-looking actress would cheat on the British actor. Kristen was caught making out with the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. The cheating scandal caused the break up of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
However, he managed to take her back but eventually the relationship didn't work out maybe due to lack of trust. After two years, the 28-year old actor finally opens up about the cheating scandal. Robert Pattinson told Esquire UK, "Shit happens, you know? It's just young people ... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a shit?"
With that statement, he seems to have already forgiven the 24-year old actress and even tried to protect her feelings. Pattinson told the magazine, "When you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict."
He explained, "It's like that scene in 'Doubt' where Philip Seymour Hoffman is talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you've got to go and collect all the feathers."
"The Rover" star still doesn't understand why many people are so fascinated by the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart relationship. He revealed, "I used to dress up my assistant as me, and get him to drive off with like five cars following him around for hours."
The actor jokingly said, "I think it goes through periods where you're assigned 'this is the guy to follow.' But whenever I see a bunch of paparazzi hanging out, I always think, 'Oh God, what have they found out!' Oh, THAT love child! I totally forgot!"
