"Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page and co-star Evan Rachel Wood were spotted being chased by a tattooed gang as part of the film. The two stars reportedly bonded prior to production.

The 27-year-old "Juno" star, Ellen Page, and "True Blood" actress Evan Rachel Wood were in their respective characters as they were captured in a Jeep Cherokee on-set in Squamish, Canada.

It was a chasing scene between the actresses and a group of bikers, the Daily Mail said.

The two females play as sisters in the film adaptation of Jean Hegland's novel of the same name. The story evolved around the two who live in a remote ancient forest after surviving a collapse of society.

Ellen Page was seen in deep thought in front of the passenger seat as she bites a fingernail and gave glances out the window.

The "Juno" star wore an olive green military-style shirt with blue jeans as her brunette tresses were pulled away from her face.

On the other hand, Jaime Bell's ex-wife of two years was in the backseat as she threw a mournful look to the tattooed gang.

The Patricia Rozema-directed film is also being produced by "Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page.

"Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood began bonding with each other at the onset of production.

Evan Rachel Wood took to Twitter in April to reveal her friendship with the recently out star.

"@EllenPage and I will be playing sisters in a film called "into the forest" this year," she said in a Twitter interview with Out magazine.

She added, "So we have been spending a lot of time together and she has become one of my closest friends. We also enjoy a sip of tequila every now and then ;)"

The openly bisexual star and the "Inception" actress were recently seen hanging out as they sported matching "tomboy" ensemble in Vancouver on Monday.

According to Sugarscape, Ellen Page has been getting close to "The Fault in our Stars" lead actress Shailene Woodley after they dined out in Palihouse, West Hollywood recently.

A source said that the "Divergent" star has been beside her throughout the coming out process.
