Although "True Blood" cast member Anna Paquin is married to her co-star Stephen Moyer, the actress still stands by her bisexual status.
After talking about her role as Sookie in the HBO hit series with Larry King on "Larry King Now," they moved on to her bisexuality.
For some reason, King found it confusing how Paquin could consider herself bisexual when she is in a monogamous marriage with the onscreen Bill Compton.
King asked,"Are you a non-practicing bisexual?"
Paquin answered the question without really answering the question.
"Well, I am married to my husband and we are happily, monogamously married," said the starlet.
Rewording the question, King asked, "But you were bisexual?”
With a more direct answer, Paquin said, "Well, I don’t think it’s a past-tense thing.”
She then continued with elaborating on her sexuality to give King a better understanding.
“No. Are you still straight if you are with somebody, and — if you were to break up with them or if they were to die, it doesn’t prevent your sexuality from existing," said Paquin. "It doesn’t really work like that.”
In a nutshell, Paquin explained that her marriage to a man doesn't erase her bisexuality.
