Jada Pinkett Smith has just opened up about how she felt when the controversial of her 13-year-old daughter, Willow, went viral on the Internet. This picture showcased Willow with 20-year-old actor Moises Arias, lying in bed together.
There was nothing racy with the picture at all. But, then again, others might look at the photograph very differently and start to assume the worst. As the picture of Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter becomes famous all over the world, a lot of people opted to speak up about their negative opinions regarding the image.
Jada Pinkett Smith has already spoken to countless reports about this matter and her mind has never changed one bit. She has always addressed the image that was spreading as harmless. Still, when she was given the chance to speak with a Net-a-Porter, she revealed that there was a deep-seated issue that existed as well.
Jada Pinkett Smith said, "Just don't pollute something that's not dirty. It's really tough. I feel like the connection to the value of women on a bigger scale has decreased tremendously. Even though you look and go, 'Women have so many opportunities.' It's like, 'Yeah, but at what cost?'"
Jada Pinkett Smith then continued to speak about wanting nothing else but sheer happiness for her children. She specifically stated, "I want my kids to be happy and I want them to be themselves. I was saying to a friend the other day, 'Remember, our kids are not us. They're not. Sometimes we're trying to fix things that happened to us or projecting, and that's a terrible, terrible trap."
When the image of Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter, Willow, first started to spread on the online grapevine, she was quick in defending her daughter to the scrutinizing public eye. She told TMZ, "Here's the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation."
