"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 news update revealed that the main cast is now read for production as Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki all inked huge deals that will make them multi-millionaires.
Nellie Andreeva of Deadline wrote "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 news when she said that the three stars have agreed to three-year contracts. According to the website, Jim Parsons signed the contract first, followed by Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco.
Their contract were inked under the "most favored nations" terms, which according to Andreeva simply means that they have "financial parity" with each other.
Warner Bros. TV and the reps of the actors have yet to comment on the latest "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 news, which should be good for fans as it was earlier reported that the contracts have delayed production that was oringlaly scheduled last week.
The Deadline also said that Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco will be paid $1 million per episode for seasons 8 to 10, which would be around 72 episodes. But the studio is already thinking of an 11th episode.
The three stars' ownership of the show also went up from 0.25 to one point which, along to the signing bonuses, incentives, advances towards the backend, would mean that Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki will have earned $90 million each after three years.
Meanwhile, TVGuide said that Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also close to inking their new contracts for yet undisclosed amount. However, it was earlier reported that the two actors are asking to close the salary gap with the three main cast of the show.
Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik already renegotiated their contracts last fall and are ready to film scenes.
"If production resumes this week, producers will likely avoid having to trim the season's episode order," the site said.
