Football Transfer News: Radamel Falcao A Necessity For Monaco, Says Coach; Striker Chooses Former Team Over Real Madrid

Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has disclosed all rumors saying that his midfielder Radamel Falcao will leave his club and join La Liga giants Real Madrid.

He has said that the club needs Falcao, and he is very much happy with his performance so far for this season. He has recently won 1-0 over Arsenal in the Emirates Cup last Sunday, via free kick form Joao Maoutinho.

Falcao is a Colombia player, and has also recently just got back from a serious injury. Nevertheless, his performance for the said game was already great.

"Falcao is indispensable to Monaco," the Portuguese coach told the press.

"I'm very satisfied with the performance of Falcao and that he scored."

"At this point Falcao is our player and he's with us 100 per cent and we don't want to let him go,' Jardim said in a previous meeting,

Jadim has consistently reiterated that Falcao is, and still is, a Monaco player, even though rumors saying that he will transfer to Real Madrid were on an all-time high during the transfer season.

It can be remembered that Real Madrid has already bought Colombia superstar and Golden Boot awardee James Rodriguez for £60 million from the same club.

"It's a pity we lost James [Rodriguez] but we can count on Falcao staying. Regardless of what people say, he's our player," the coach said in that same previous interview, too.

"He's in the final stages of his recovery and he'll be with us this season," he talked about Falcao.

"I am satisfied with the performance of the team," the coach continued. "We played two great teams. The players have shown in these two games they are in a very good physical condition."

"The most important thing was to give players the opportunity to show their potential."

Nevertheless, James has already expressed his interest in Falcao's transfer to Real Madrid. He said that he would love playing with his Colombian teammate.
