Floyd Mayweather's next fight will be tough for "Money" according to Amir Khan. "King Khan" also believes that facing Manny Pacquiao would be "harder" for him.

Floyd Mayweather's next fight will be a rematch against Marcos Maidana, scheduled for September 13th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It will also be the current pound-for-pound king's fourth fight out of his lucrative six-fight deal with Showtime.

One of the names on "Money May's" challenger shortlist before making the Marcos Maidana match-up official was Amir "King" Khan, but due to the latter's Islam commitments for Ramadan, he was unable to sign the fight agreement.

But he did throw in his inputs regarding Floyd Mayweather's next fight and the first encounter with "El Chino", through an interview with The Guardian.

"For the first five rounds, I was shocked," Khan said. "I'd expected Mayweather to win easily but styles make fights. Maidana put so much pressure on him that Floyd didn't have room to throw his punches."

"You have problems with Maidana if you just stand and fight," he continued. "Floyd won but it wasn't easy."

For Floyd Mayweather's next fight, "King Khan" believes it will be a tougher assignment for the champion this time around.

"Floyd had a tough fight last time and the rematch might be tough too," Khan added.

Another prominent name on "King Khan's" wish list is eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, who also happens to be his former training partner under Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in California.

While the contrast of styles between "Money May" and "Pacman" are highly evident, Amir Khan had already broken down the respective match-ups wherein he thinks fighting the Filipino sensation would be a tougher task,

"Mayweather would be a very technical fight, like a game of chess," Khan said. "But I think Manny would be harder. He's much more aggressive and it would be more intense."
