Being a newbie on the show, rocker Gwen Stefani (who replaced Shakira on the chair) will be getting help from somewhere very nearby. Access Hollywood reported that Stefani will be bringing in her own husband, Gavin Rosdale to help her coach her 12 contestants.
As frontman for Bush, Rosdale is indeed quite capable of helping out his other half. This project would be the first time wife and husband will be working together professionally despite being married for some years now.
"I don't know how it came about, but it was just one of those things [where] the idea was mentioned - I wasn't even sure who was mentioning it - and then it came around to, 'So, next week you ready? You are gonna come and do this?" the father of two revealed about how the whole deal happened.
He also admitted that the gig is a lot of pressure for him, adding, "These people like, I press my button because I thought they sounded good, and then I fight for them. You are in the moment and then they choose you, and it's like wow, that's their whole life right this moment! So I felt really responsible."
Meanwhile, it was also previously announced that Adam Levine will be having a legend by his side during the show's battle rounds as well. After singing for his wedding with Behati Prinsloo, Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks will be sitting right beside the Maroon 5 frontman as a guest adviser.
Things are already heated with the newly married Levine as coach, but adding Stevie Nicks to the mix only makes things more interesting.
Who will get to coach the next 'The Voice' champion? Find out when 'The Voice' season 7 premieres on September 22, 8PM at NBC!
