Michael Strahan's fiancée, Nicole Murphy, has officially ended their five-year engagement and seven-year relationship due to the NFL player's infidelity, among many other things.

A source previously confirmed to TMZ, "Nicole first got wind Michael might be dating another woman in early July and started investigating."

After figuring out that the rumors were indeed true, Murphy decided to go public with the split, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Strahan claimed that Murphy's timing for the breakup caught him by surprise especially since it took place around the same time he was being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, the same publication revealed.

Friends and supporters of the athlete believe that Murphy and her friends are sabotaging the football's player's biggest milestone.

Strahan and Murphy started dating in 2007. Two years later, the former New York Giants proposed to the talk show host.

Following the breakup announcement, Strahan's spokesperson told People Magazine on Friday, "They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship."

Meanwhile, Strahan recently gave an emotional speech at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction, E! News revealed.

Throughout his 34-minute speech, Strahan talked about his journey to success with his former team and thanked the people who have helped him achieve his dream.

First on his list was his mother, Louise and said, "I am a Mama's boy." Strahan then thanked his dad Gene and dubbed him as an "amazing, amazing man." The player also gave shout outs to his older siblings, who he said encouraged him to get into shape as early as 13 years old.

The newly-inducted Hall of Famer also grabbed the opportunity to thank his four children, Tanita, Michael Jr., Isabella and Sophia, as well as "Good Morning America" co-host Robin Roberts and Kelly Ripa, who he fondly called his "TV wife."
