A man's finger was mysteriously bitten off at Jay Z and Beyonce's "On the Run" concert tour in Southern California after he allegedly defended his girlfriend from a man who attempted to attack her.

The suspect, 25-year-old Roberto Alcaraz-Garnica of San Diego was taken into custody on Saturday on suspicion of sexual battery and mayhem, according to Penn Live.

Lt. John Luna confirmed that Garnica was accused of attacking a woman at the concert and when the woman's boyfriend confronted him for his deed, the suspect engaged into a brawl. As of late, Garnica is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, the same publication noted.

"The suspect sexually assaulted the female victim. During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim, causing serious injury to his finger," Luna said.

Meanwhile, at least ten other concert attendees were arrested, with approximately two people held by police officials for scalping tickets and eight others were arrested due to public drunkenness, the Pasadena Star-News reported.

Photo of the man's fingers immediately circulated online and became viral after it was first released by TMZ. Meanwhile, the man and his girlfriend were immediately taken to the hospital, the Daily Mail confirmed.

As of late, Beyonce and Jay Z have not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
