According to a report from ABC News, a memorial for Martha Stewart's younger sister Laura Plimpton was blogged by her big sister.
Martha Stewart shared how her sister woke up early on Monday morning to work out and make coffee for her husband, Randy Plimpton.
Laura Plimpton worked on a crossword puzzle, took a shower and started to complain she was not feeling well, said ABC News.
"She was rushed to the hospital where they said she had suffered a massive brain aneurysm. Laura left a living will so she was kept on life support until today so her three children could say their goodbyes, and the testing could be completed for organ donation," Martha Stewart wrote in a blog post from Wednesday.
"We are so sad but also happy that Laura had the foresight to donate so many healthy organs to needy people," she shared.
Martha Stewart also requested for readers to keep Laura Plimpton's family in their thoughts, particularly husband Randy Plimpton, their three children, and two sons-in-law.
"Laura deserves the very best," Martha Stewart shared. "She was an extraordinary mother, wife, and sister."
