Kristen Stewart and the paparazzi are really on good terms; the "Twilight" star explains why the cameras never catch her smiling.
It's easy to say Kristen Stewart and the paparazzi aren't on the same page, if her public photos are to be considered. It seems like her face is always passive or nonchalant, the same face she's worn in all the "Twilight" movies.
She's done stunning performances in the past, to her credit. Kristen starred opposite Jodie Foster in "Panic Room," also played a role in Sean Penn's "Into the Wild." So why is she keeping on with the mystery?
Based on her comment in an interview, it looks like Kristen is just maintaining public perception, and she can actually flash a smile anytime she wants.
In an interview with Elle Magazine, Kristen says she just doesn't want to rock the boat. "Now I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo - not that I ever would - that's exactly what people would be desecrating me for," she shares. "They'd be like, 'Now you're going to give it up, now you're a sellout.' Like, okay. What do you want? What would you like?"
Kristen Stewart and the paparazzi have yet to come up with a photo with a beaming face. She's keeping with the default even now that she's sporting a new pixie haircut.
"Never at any point have I sat down and plotted how I should proceed from here on," she says. "As soon as you start thinking about your career as a trajectory - like, as if you're going to miss out on some wave or momentum - then you're never doing anything for yourself anyway. Then you're truly, actually, specifically working for the public. You're turning yourself into a bag of chips." (yahoo.com)
It's a rare occasion when Kristen Stewart and the paparazzi gel on public photo ops, but here's one of the few occasions when she's actually caught smiling, candidly at that.
