Juan Cuadrado is permitted by the Florentina president Andrea Della Valle to leave his club, provided that Manchester United will buy him for a large sum of dollars.
The Serie A president even said that he is already expecting a big offer for Juan Cuadrado, after Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal hinted that he wanted Cuadrado's services for the Premier League.
A lot big football clubs have been courting Cuadrado, after he explicitly showed his prowess during the 2014 World cup in Brazil, where he played for the Colombia team.
Barcelona even wanted Cuadrado, but it is the Old Trafford who might have advanced in his bidding.
Nevertheless, his soon to be ex- club Florentina could not care less on who will buy the 26- year- old winger. Perhaps all they care about is the money.
It can be perceived that Cuadrado will be signing up on a new team this week, or within seven days.
"I talked with Cuadrado in a very quiet and clear way. I said to him that at Fiorentina there is an important project and I hope that he can stay with us another year," he told reporters.
"But I want to say to Fiorentina fans that if a big offer arrives, the player will leave our club, and I think this offer will arrive.
"I won't hold him and I can't hold him in the case of a big offer. The situation will be more clear the next week."
Louis van Gaal hinted Cuadrado's dealing earlier this week: "I cannot talk about Cuadrado, because if I say something about him the price will rise," van Gaal told the reporters.
"We'll see the best situation, if there was an offer of €50m [£40m] he would be hard to give up, but at the moment there has been no official request," sporting director Daniele Prade told Corriere dello Sportrecently.
