All-female group Danity Kane has split up once again after reuniting last August.
The split was reportedly caused by a physical altercation between members Aubrey O'Day and Dawn Richard, according to E! News.
"During a recent group meeting, a business conversation took a turn for the worst when my group member punched me in the back of the head while I was speaking to another associate," Aubrey O'Day wrote in a statement.
She added, "To be clear, she was not physically engaged or threatened prior to her attack on me. This is the same information I provided to the police, and witnesses also corroborated this account of the incident. I cannot condone or excuse any form of physical violence, particularly at the hands of someone I considered family. Disagreements happen. But a war of words and ideas should never end in physically aggression."
Shannon Bex also released a statement regarding the recent punch.
"As for the actions that have brought us to this broken ending, I cannot speak for anyone or explain their internal struggles that promoted this heartbreaking sequences of events. All I know is what I have seen. I did not witness a shouting match, a cat fight or a bawl. I witnessed a single direct punch," wrote Bex.
Richards has not released a statement regarding the split of Danity Kane or the punch she threw.
This isn't the first time Danity Kane split up. They had disbanded five years ago as well.
The group had almost completed their new album, but now, it is unclear if it will ever be released, according to BallerStatus.
"Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now," Aubrey O'Day told TMZ.
