"Teen Mom" cast members have been posting hints on their social networking sites that the hit MTV reality series is filming a new season, which will reportedly include a reunion special.
According to a report from Perez Hilton, social media accounts of "Teen Mom" cast members have included references of cameras following them around.
One example is cast Amber Portwood's baby daddy Gary Shirley, who tweeted a photo of his daughter's first day of school. A cameraman could be seen behind his 5-year-old daughter.
The fiancé of "Teen Mom" cast member Catelynn Lowell has also been posting similar photos, visibly showing MTV's film crew equipment.
"Teen Mom" cast member Maci Bookout also posted what seemed to be a hint by tweeting emoticons of film cameras.
According to a separate report from Wetpaint, MTV is allegedly working on a reunion special for the groundbreaking reality show.
The show's fifth season is currently on the air, but sources said that the reunion special will include "Teen Mom" cast members from the series' original season.
The Wetpaint report also said that an "Ask the Moms" special will tape on August 24 in New York City, based on a separate report from Ashley's Reality Roundup.
The report from Ashley's Reality Roundup also revealed that there is also a chance for "Teen Mom" to have a sixth season. "Who knows when it will end," a source told the news site.
"We are still waiting to hear from the producers [to see if there will be more seasons]. They said the premiere ratings were good, so now we just have to see if the show's ratings stay consistent. I think most of the cast would be happy with one more season," the report said.
In related news, "Teen Mom" cast member Catelynn Lowell revealed her baby bump last week via an Instagram post, said a report from Daily Mail.
The reality TV personality confirmed that she and fiancé Tyler Baltierra are indeed expecting her second child five years after they gave up their firstborn for adoption.
