Dell Alienware 13 Unveiled with a Sleek and Light Design! Company Determined to Keep Up with Competition

Dell Alienware lineup is usually focused on hardware performance over style, and has been ignoring today’s trends until now. However, since the gaming market is pressing towards lighter and slimmer gaming laptops, Dell is apparently forced to make a move in order to keep up with the competition.

The company will be making its come back with a sleek and slim Alienware 13, which is planned to be released on the market this November. So, there’s still a few months of wait before seeing the 13.3-inch model in its entire splendor arrive on the market.

The tight laptop weights 4.5 lbs / 2.04 and comes with the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics. As for the processors the laptop will have any of the Haswell-based Core i CPUs (i3, i5 or i7), but a Broadwell version should be available any time soon.

Dell will be given customers the choice between the more standard 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and more advanced once like 1920 x 1080 pixels or 2560 x 1440. The model with the highest resolution will also come equipped with a touchscreen. Theyl will also throw in two additional screen wconfigurations in the form of a 720p, 200 nits TN-panel with 45% color gamut and 1080p, 350 nits IPS panel with superior 72% color gamut.

When it comes to connectivity, Alienware 13 has an 802.11ac Wi-Fi, USB 3.0, two solid states drive and support for 16GB of internal memory.

Of course, the new laptop will ship out with the latest version of the Command Center feat and with AlienwareFX lighting.

There’s no doubt that Dell will be releasing its latest thin and light laptop after a torrent of sleek gaming notebooks launched within the past few months. We have seen competing companies like ASUS, Razer, MSI, Origin, CyberPower, Maingear, and Auros that have all unveil similar products from the category.

Dell will be making more announcements soon on the final configuration set as well as on how much will the Alienware 13 sell.
