A Kansas farmer serenades his cows with Lorde's "Royals" using his trombone. The video which was uploaded on YouTube has now become viral with people sharing the video on social media.

The video which was uploaded last August 3, added an interesting twist to the popular song "Royals." Lorde's hit song has been covered multiple times already, but Derek Klingenberg's could be the most unique of them all.

For starters, Klingenberg covered the entire song using his trombone. The video begins with the farmer taking a seat in his field as he started playing "Royals" on his trombone. Roughly a minute into the video, figures of what seem to be cows emerge from a distance. As the song progresses, the cows continue to walk towards Klingenberg.

The video ends with all of the farmer's cows in front of him, wagging their tails and just holding a stationery position in front of Klingenberg while listening to the song.

In an interview with The Kansas City Star, Klingenberg said that he's not really used to the attention he's been getting as of late.

"It's weird, millions of people all over the world watch my stuff, but I haven't left the farm. I'm just reading about it on my phone," he said.

As of writing, Lorde's "Royals" trombone version has already reached 5 million views on YouTube.

This was not the first time that Farmer Derek uploaded a viral video. He was first known for doing an Ylvis "What Does The Fox Say?" parody entitled "What Does The Farmer Say?" The said video has also reached 5 million views.
