Robin Williams upcoming movies were left in the wake of the beloved comedy legend's sudden passing at the age of 63. Williams, who was an award-winning actor known for several notable performances, left behind not only his supportive family and friends, but also an active acting career.

One of Robin Williams' upcoming movies is "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" where he reprises his role as Theodore Roosevelt. The movie finished filming last May and was scheduled for release on December 19, shared Century Fox, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Another one of Robin Williams upcoming movies is a holiday film for the whole family, which is entitled "Merry Friggin' Christmas." An indie comedy, the film casts him alongside Oliver Platt, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Lauren Graham.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the legendary comedian acted alongside Bob Odenkirk in the film "Boulevard," which was shown at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. He also took part in a live-action British comedy "Absolutely Anything" as the voice of Dennis the Dog. The comedy also starred Kate Beckinsale and Simon Pegg and was slated to hit cinemas in 2015.

Entertainment Weekly also reported that apart from the four aforementioned films, Williams, together with Christopher Columbus, was in the middle of discussing a deal with Fox over a prospective development of a "Mrs.Doubtfire" sequel.

According to the report, Williams had already discussed the drafts of the script with screenwriter David Derenbaum. If the script turned out according to expectations, Williams and Columbus, who had been close friends for 20 years, would be working in it.

Williams' demise came as shock to his fans, colleagues, family, friends and the world at large. NBC News has recently shared that President Barrack Obama has publicly expressed his and his family's condolences, describing the actor as "one-of-a-kind." In his statement, Obama said that the many roles Williams had portrayed endeared him to many people.
