"Indiana Jones 5" is rumored to feature another actor to replace Harrison Ford. To date, there are multiple online reports that talk about a list of younger actors who are presently being considered to replace Ford in an unconfirmed "Indiana Jones 5" blockbuster.
Just recently, Chris Pratt, star of "Guardians of the Galaxy," has just been added to this list. Moreover, many believe that Pratt is the strongest contender who could possibly replace the 72-year-old Ford in his iconic role.
As reported by Fandango, Pratt's versatility and his rising star appeal because of his recent performance in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World," set for 2015, are the strongest reasons why is fantastic if ever Disney does push through with its unconfirmed plans of rebooting the internationally renowned franchise.
Fandango said, "He's got the good looks, the charisma, the dance moves and a wicked sense of humor. He's everything you want in a leading man, really, and his role as Star-Lord in 'Guardians' has already drawn comparisons to a young Harrison Ford."
Pratt is actually not the first actor to be associated with the rumors of younger actors taking on Ford's role for "Indiana Jones 5." Moreover, such speculations further bloomed when Ford accidentally broke his leg while shooting for an upcoming blockbuster, "Star Wars: VII."
Before Pratt was brought into the game, there were two other big names that have floated around as possible Ford replacements, such as Bradley Cooper, Pratt's co-star in "Guardians" as Rocket, and Robert Pattinson form "Twilight."
Cooper has not officially denied these rumors, but Pattinson did comment about the possibility that he would be selected to star in "Indiana Jones 5." He mentioned that he was not even approached about this matter while he was walking on the red carpet for "The Rover." He said, "I don't know why. Why is that coming out? I honestly don't understand what it's all about. Man, I wish!"
