Assassin's Creed movie, set for public release on the 7th of August 2015, is one of the movies that are being heavily anticipated by sci-fi fans from all over the globe. In fact, Michael Fassbender, one of today's phenomenally talented actors, is also excited about his upcoming Assassin's Creed flick himself.
Fassbender has proven himself worthy for the role he was selected to portray. He already had his fair share in dramatically challenging roles, as evidenced by his performance in "Shame," which is a film about addiction to sex. Plus, he has also starred in "X-Men: First Class", "X-Men: Days of Future Past", and "Prometheus."
Fassbender has just recently spoken with IGN, and it would seem that he has a natural interest for the weird aspect of science that is featured in the famous Assassin's Creed franchise.
Fassbender said, "I don't really play that many video games, but when I met up with the guys from Ubisoft and they started to explain this whole world and the idea of DNA memory - you know, I think it's a very feasible scientific theory. I just thought, 'This is so rich,' and about the possibility of it being this cinematic experience. So, I'm really excited about it, and we're working very hard to make sure that we've got the best and most exciting, original package."
Slashfilm, on the other hand, has noted that if the upcoming big-budget Assassin's Creed movie is still in its early production stages, and it already has an official release date that has been set in less than a year, there could be a lot of trouble. Perhaps to speed up the process, quite a few writers have tried taking a stab at the Assassin's Creed movie script, such as Scott Frank from "The Wolverine" and "Minority Report", Michael Lesslie from "Macbeth", and Adam Cooper and Bill Collage from "Exodus: Gods and Kings."
