With his first romantic comedy movie, 'What If,' finally making its cinematic debut, a lot of questions would definitely be thrown about Daniel Radcliffe's girlfriend and dating history.
The 'Harry Potter' star shared some very interesting details about his dating life to Daily Mail. He is currently dating his 'Kill Your Darlings' co-star Erin Darke for some time now and he recently revealed that he considers her his best friend.
His character as the geeky Wallace in 'What If' is definitely the closest to his real self among all the other movie portrayals he's ever had.
"I think this is the part where I play someone most like myself," he told Daily Mail. "I'm definitely the geeky guy who wants to be in a relationship. And it was a big thing for me to do a modern-day romance. There was no point in this film where I had to get covered in blood, or cry over the body of someone, or pull someone out of a muddy bog."
As for past girlfriends, the British actor admitted that he's had pretty normal relationships so far, considering his superstar status at such an early age. People would have expected him to be followed around by crazy stalkers wanting to be Daniel Radcliffe's girlfriend or clingy ex-lovers who become obsessed with him, but that's not the case.
"I've never been paranoid about girls dating me for the wrong reasons because I'm a pretty good judge of character," he explained, "And I only go for intelligent girls."
"I'm a serial monogamist, though," the British actor further shared, "I think the shortest relationship that I was in was six months and I think I've been pretty lucky because I've never gone for the wrong type of girl."
Compared to other men his age, who sees dating as something to be taken lightly, the 'Horns' actor usually gets serious about his romantic relationships.
When asked if he'd ever had his heart broken before, he admitted that he had but only because he was "a kid and hung up on someone."
At 25, the British actor has never been dumped either, adding "I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, it just hasn't happened to me."
With his romantic idealism about love (he previously revealed that he looks up to his parents' marriage who were best friends since before they got married), Daniel Radcliffe's girlfriend seems to be a very lucky girl.
