Zlatan Ibrahimovic expects to reach the peak of his career and finish after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires in two years.
This will be the third season of the Sweden striker with the capital club, and is under contract for a fourth. After his contract ends on 2016, he said that he feels it may be the right time for him to officially exit the world stage.
"I will be 34 next season and I don't see myself continuing to play at the top level after that. So probably the answer is yes."
The striker would like to keep a hold of his ambitions of continental success at club level, having won league titles in four countries but never the Champions League.
He said that PSG is a team made to play in good tournaments and now he thinks they have a good opportunity and they can win the title.
"I think we have that in our team now. We have more experience too, especially after last season. So we can do it.
"I have achieved what I wanted in my career, 100 per cent. I have won 23 titles. Of course, it would be nice to win the Champions League, and I feel I can and will win it.
"But if my career finishes without it, I would still be happy and proud."
Ibrahimovic expressed his sentimentality with the club and regarded it as very special. He said that he was there from the beginning and that he wanted to join PSG for all the reasons he had and believed in then and now.
"I knew it would be a great choice, and so far it has gone exactly like I expected to be. I am very happy and proud.
"I think that to reach the next step, I have to do better than last year. I have reached the level I am at now because I have always wanted to be better than the season before."
