"Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page was revealed to be one of the leading contenders in this year's sexiest vegetarians. The star was also said to have debunked relationship rumors with actor Alexander Skarsgard after coming out as gay last February.
The actress, who stars with Evan Rachel Wood in the film "Into the Forest", said that she turned being a vegetarian when she learned about the health benefits of avoiding meat intake.
"I really used to eat a lot of crap," the "Into the Forest" actress said.
She added, "And now I don't, and I feel great, and I absolutely love healthy food."
"Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page was joined by Canadian transgender beauty queen Jenna Talackova in the top list.
The transgender beauty revealed that she opted to be a vegan upon seeing footages of animal cruelty, the ET Canada reported.
She said, "I don't think words can describe seeing an animal tortured like that."
"It's unethical, and it's something I want to fight against," the transgender beauty queen added.
Meanwhile, "Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page was reported to have debunked the rumors about having a relationship with "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgard.
The actress was said to be among the long list of women who were linked to the A-list actor including "Straw Dogs" star Kate Bosworth and Tom Cruise's ex Katie Holmes.
Back in 2012, "Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page was romantically linked to Alexander Skarsgard after working on movie "The East."
But Fans Share reported that what they have was just a "brief romance."
The dating rumors of Ellen Page and the actor were debunked when the "Into the Forest" actress came out in February in an LGBT event.
