While the "The Amazing Spider-Man" fans are keeping their eyes and ears open on changes and announcements on the release date, cast, and plot, its movie spinoff "The Sinister Six" is beginning to create a loud bang. The sequel of Marc Webb's web-slinging movie franchise DVD and Blu-Ray editions to be released this August 19 seems the start of a little tease of the anti-hero team movie.

The Extras in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" DVD and Blu-Ray editions released by Sony Pictures shows the Spidey villains through concept art which perhaps a hint on the cast of "The Sinister Six". The copies also include the 13 deleted scenes in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".

Spidey fans, most likely, anticipate that Doc Ock and Vulture will be part of the Six, particularly Doc Ock as he is the one who calls supervillains who have faced Spider-Man to challenge the wall-crawler.

Other Spider-Man's foes who might be included in "The Sinister Six" cast are Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Rhino, and Green Goblin. We are still clueless if Sony and writer-director Drew Goddard will stick to the original members of the Six such as Doc Ock, Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Sandman. Perhaps, including Venom in the casting or even an appearance will give us the hint on the tentatively titled "Venom Carnage" standalone film.

But if we were to base the casting in the appearances of the villains in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", we can think that Doc Ock, Electro, Goblin, Mysterio, and Rhino will be the members of the supervillains.

Those who will purchase the DVD or Blu-Ray editions of the second installment of "The Amazing Spider-Man", you may want to buy the copy at Target if you want the Bonus disc containing the video teaser of "The Sinister Six".

"The Sinister Six" movie is set to invade the silver screen this coming 2016 before "Venom Carnage" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 3".
