It's been more than a month since the producers and cast members announced that the "Entourage" movie had already wrapped up. Fans can't wait to see the final result, but they still need to wait until June 2015 to see the film in the big screen. However, Mark Wahlberg revealed that he have already seen the film. Of course he has a right to see it ahead of everybody since he produced the movie.
The actor told Access Hollywood, "Entourage, I just saw the movie. It's fantastic." Mark Wahlberg was very proud of the cast and was confident that the fans will surely enjoy seeing Vinnie Chase (Adrian Grenier), Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven), Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly), and Johnny "Drama" Chase (Kevin Dillon), and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) in cinemas soon.
He said, "The stakes are so big. You're rooting for these guys to succeed. There's so much humor and heart in it." Wahlberg added, "And director Doug Ellin just did an amazing job." The actor who recently starred in "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" got so excited that he wanted to release the "Entourage" movie earlier than its scheduled date in June 2015.
Wahlberg said, "I don't think we're going to be able to wait a year to release the movie. We're going to show the studio sooner, rather than later." But he tried to calm down and talked about the possibility of just retaining the date. He said, "If it makes most sense to wait until June, we'll wait until June."
I wonder what factors he is considering when it comes to choosing a release date. Maybe he still wants to take a look at the competitors so the "Entourage" movie will have a bigger chance of doing well in the box office. Currently, the film adaptation of the HBO series will be going head to head with "Jurassic World" and that's a pretty tough competitor.
A week after that will be "The Fantastic Four" and the following week will be Mark Wahlberg's "Ted 2". I'm sure he wouldn't want his movie to clash with the "Entourage" movie so most probably they will move it during the first week of June 2015.
Apart from an early release date, fans can also expect a sequel to the movie. Wahlberg revealed, "I told Doug, 'Let's not wait for the movie to come out to start planning the next one because this is definitely going to be a big success.'" The 43-year old actor added, "If I have anything to do with it there will be."
