The person that posted the naked pictures also explained how he/she was able to access them. Lakael33 wrote, "No doubt Selena Gomez will feign being shocked and embarrassed by the leaking of these private nude pictures, and she will try to claim that her cell phone was hacked so that no one will state the obvious that her PR team leaked these pictures for attention."

Also written on the social media site, "Regardless of how they got out, the fact remains that Selena Gomez's nude cell phone pictures are now part of the public record, and people will begin to speculate on whether Selena took these racy pictures for Justin Bieber, Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevigne..."

However, the representative of the "Come and Get It" singer said that the Selena Gomez nude photos are fake. Gossipcop reported that the naked pictures were posted on the image sharing site Imgur several months ago and it belonged to an unidentified woman. The Selenators believed her because they know their idol well, including her tattoos, which are different from the photos.

So how's the "Behaving Badly" actress coping up with the scandal? A source told Hollywood Life, "Selena is really upset, she's telling people it's not her but it's hard to believe her since the pictures do look exactly like her."

The insider added, "Her phone wasn't stolen but anything is possible in this day and age, people can hack remotely and there are so many sickos out there. She and Justin always send each other a lot of sexy selfies so there are sexy pictures of her out there."
