"Insurgent" had a new casting call. This new casting call may give a few hints to fans who have been anticipating for some details regarding this upcoming sequel to hit movie "Divergent." As reported by Project Casting, Lionsgate have just sent out a new casting call for what they referred to as "intellectual types" in Atlanta.

Fans are questioning why "Insurgent" would need "intellectual types" in its cast. In Veronica Roth's 2nd novel to this trilogy, there are more representatives from the faction Candor, which is the faction that puts greater value on honesty, and Erudite, who are the ones who value knowledge.

Tris, played by Shailene Woodley, and Four, played by Theo James, are now closer to the truth behind their society, which happens to be controlled through factions. Plus, they run into some factionless people as well, who, in turn, have long been planning about revolting against the leaders who made the factions in the first place.

In "Insurgent," Tris has more risks to take as she searches for allies, as well as answers, in the dystopian ruins of a futuristic Chicago. The story starts where "Divergent" has left off, which has cast Tris and Four as fugitives who are on the run from the power-hungry Erudites, who is led by Jeanine, played by Kate Winslet.

Apart from being hunted, the two, who also happen to be in love with each other, also have to race against time as they try to figure out what Tris' family sacrificed their lives to protect, and also why the leaders of the Erudite faction would stop at nothing in order to stop them. Tris and Four face each challenge that was thrown in their path as they work to unlock the secrets about the past and the future of the world that they live in.

"Insurgent" will still be starring Woodley, Winslet, James, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, and Maggie Q. Plus, they will be joined by some additions to their team, namely, Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer. "Insurgent" has a scheduled public release on March 20, 2015.
